Description

Half day editorial thingy in college.........

A slightly brighter colour palette this time..........

Scientists at the roslin Institute in Edinburgh, where Dolly the sheep was created, have green pigs, sheep, chickens and mice,
All genetically modified with the green flourescent protein found in jellyfish.

As the arctilce goes, the technique was first used to to test whether
a type of virus called a lentivirus could be used to get new genes into animals.
The virus is disabled but they insert a flourescent green jellyfish gene protein so
when the virus is present the animal lights up. It's your top of the line mad scientist stuff :

As a child, i would spend sunny afternoons smashing jellyfish with rocks.........back in the day...........
